Can You Visualize it?

Last week I was sitting in my truck and for some reason a verse came to mind.  Proverbs 29:18 in the KJV reads, "Where there is no vision, the people perish:".  Now, I wasn't doing anything that would prompt this thought, but I did think it was rather interesting.  What does seeing have to do with living?

The more I thought about it, the more it began to make sense to me.  There's a difference in having vision and just being able to see.  Vision provides a person with the ability to "see" an outcome or to see a way forward through a circumstance.  Vision gives one the ability to imagine what success looks like and because an individual can see it, can work on the path of obtaining it.

Having vision can provide a person with hope.  Hope that there can be a better tomorrow.  Hope that there is a way to success, happiness, and joy.  Vision leads us to hope, and hope gives us a will to keep moving on into that something better we want to obtain.  But our vision, like faith, isn't obtained without work.

Let's not only visualize better circumstances and situations or visualize a better job or position.  Let's not only visualize what success looks like, but let's work on ways to obtaining it.  Because, if you can see it, you can obtain it.

For me, I visualize seeing this blog taking off and helping millions of people.  And it starts with one blog at a time...

Let's geaux make something happen!
